  • How do you Import/Export Of archery equipment into or out of Singapore?

From what we understand, archers wanting to personally take goods into Singapore will have to get an import licence from the Arm & Explosive branch of the Singapore Police Force before entering Singapore or have your archery equipment deposited at Customs when you arrives and get licence to collect the equipment later. The import licence is valid for 14 days from date of issue and costs S$16.00. A representative can apply on your behalf, mail to you to ensure you receive it before you arrive. Alternatively, your representative can bring the licence to the airport when you arrive. Worst case scenario, leave the equipment at Customs and collect them the following day with the licence.

Likewise you will have to obtain an export licence when you leave Singapore with the equipment. Export licence can be obtained from the Arm & Explosive Branch, Singapore Police Forece, No. 3 Lady Hill Road. Charge is S$16.00.

You do not have to go through this licensing process if you order archery equipment from BWachery from overseas.

For accurate information regarding ownership and bring bow in and out of Singapore please contact OC A&E Branch, at Tel No: +65-6838-1764.

How do you expect archers to buy equipment if you don't list down prices?

We are a small conservative archery business, and are making no attempt to sell equipment online. If you like to inquire on the price of equipment, please check out the page below on how to purchase archery equipment from us. This is a customized sport, and your shooting needs are as important as the archery equipment you may think you need. Please let us help you through this process.

What are the terms of payment to purchase archery equipment from Bill Wee?

ALL PRICES ARE QUOTED IN SINGAPORE DOLLARS UNLESS INDICATED OTHERWISE. This can be indicated by '$', 'SGD$', 'SGD', or 'S$'.

We accept bank drafts in Singapore dollars made out to 'Bill Wee Agencies' and mailed to us at 5 Binchang Walk, Singapore 579857. Bank Telegraphic Transfer (T.T.) cost customers more and there is also a service charge levied against us which customers will be billed for - normally S$10 or S$20. Otherwise, cash up front. We do not accept credit facilities at the present moment in time.

We will send goods upon receiving your payment.

I have been using these payment terms for the last three decades. All local and international archers are familiar with them. Please feel free to ask around.

How do you pack goods I intend to order?

[How your archery equipment is packed]

How does bwarchery send my order to me?

BWarchery will quote against your inquiry, estimating airmail cost. We use letter rate for small light items where heavier ones by air parcel (registered for safe passage to customers). Express airpost costs more. Expensive modes are Federal Express, DHL or local courier service. Please let me know your preference.

If a custom order has been placed (or if we are out of the goods you've ordered), you have to also allow for sometimes up to a month or more before such goods are dispatched to you. This is because major suppliers lilke Hoyt, Easton & Samick all have heavy order loadings. No doubt we will advise you in such situations.

Goods are shipped within a few days.

Tell me more about your guarantee

All our archery equipment is backed by a manufacturer's guarantee. If the goods you order somehow malfunction or get damaged by normal shooting a short time after you have purchased them, just return your goods and we will arrange for a replacement for you. Think of this as a gentleman's agreement that your equipment will work the way you expect it to work.

How do I get to you? Do you have a shop front?

We do not run an archery pro shop or retail store. We operate out from a residential address. This allows us to keep our overhead expenses low, and correspondingly, the prices you enjoy are a direct relation to the way we run our business. [Directions to Bill Wee Agencies]

I'd love to get the best archery equipment but I've got a tight budget. What can I do?

My years in archery mean that you have instant access to a coach and equipment advisor for both target archery and bowhunting gear. We will try our best to advice you accordingly. You will be surprised at how many customers need help with the right combination of archery paraphernalia. Besides, coming to our 'shopfront' always means a one-to-one consultation with me, and between us, we will be able to sort out what best suits your shooting needs.
